IDEA 01
We live in the time flow,, and serial events. We plan the future, but we don't know all the things that will happen at unexpected moments. It happens at the moment they meet. They are handles, the string handles.
At first, I considered matching the moment by rotating three marked strings by motors. The strings will replace handles of seconds, minutes, and hours. Thinking about how it will look, I don't want it to be circular-shaped. With the linear or square ones, I couldn't figure out how it works mechanically for now. So, I'm thinking of another way with the idea where the strings are to be put, making a connection with us, so, based on the first insight, "in the flow of time, grasp the moments," how about putting the audience in the middle of the timekeeper, surrounded by them? It could be a form of VR timekeeper or huge strings in the real world.
How it will work is getting clear(oh, I'm so into the spiral form); make each spiral line correspond to the second hand, minute hand, and hour hand. The secondhand spiral string goes up and down once for a minute. Divide into 30 steps up to the highest point. The hour-hand spiral moves by 1/12th, while the minute-hand spiral goes up and down once. (I need to think more about how to divide the steps.) When the strings move, they leave an afterimage of the past like a spring form. There will be markers on the strings, rotating in the orbit that matches the strings, showing the passage of time.
Interaction: someone set the time or input the time, and their stories happened at the time. (This idea needs to be developed; it is so vague now.) When the moment comes(maybe at the same time after a day or after a week?), it makes or shows something to others >> how?? Need to have more think..
IDEA 02
(Time: dividing our lifetime. )
Repeat from start to end in every different version of daily life.
