On March 7, 2020, more than 2,000 political delegates attended the Ontario Liberal Party Convention to select their next leader. At the invitation of Candidate Alvin Tedjo, UBI Works brought a 6.5'-tall robot named Tech to present on-stage and educate our future leaders about automation and the urgency for universal basic income. By the end of the convention, all 6 leadership candidates had publicly supported basic income.
