Problem/Opportunity Statement

Currently, users can send messages instantaneously. The user in this case wants to schedule messages on a specific date and time.

Use cases:

1. As a user, I should be able to schedule message
2. As a user, I should be able to set a reminder

Proposed Solution

Summary:

The aim is to provide users with an option to schedule messages or set reminders (recurrence daily, weekly, and monthly).

There are two states in the WhatsApp chat UI. When you open any chat you’ll see the below screen. Where we have 4 buttons in total, one for emoji on the left-hand side, and three on the right-hand side, attachment, camera, and mike (for voice message). (Figure 1)
