Data and Integration Requirements
Google Slides is a popular presentation tool, but it lacks some features that would make it even more powerful and user-friendly. For example, there is no way to create interactive video presentations, and there are limited options for real-time translation and presentation analytics.
The goal of this PRD is to suggest new features for Google Slides that would make it more powerful, user-friendly, and collaborative. These features would allow users to create more engaging and interactive presentations, and make it easier to work on presentations with others and to track their performance.
This PRD focuses on the following new features for Google Slides:
User Persona: Business professional
User Story: As a business professional, I want to be able to create visually appealing and effective presentations quickly and easily.
Use Case: I am giving a presentation to a group of potential investors about my new startup. I want to create a presentation that is visually appealing and that clearly communicates my message. I want to use the AI-powered design assistance feature to help me create the presentation quickly and easily.
User Persona: Student
User Story: As a student, I want to be able to create interactive video presentations for my classes. This would allow me to engage my audience and to make my presentations more memorable.
Use Case: I am giving a presentation to my class about the history of the internet. I want to create an interactive video presentation that includes quizzes, polls, and surveys. I want to use the interactive video presentations feature to create a presentation that is both informative and engaging.
User Persona: Teacher
User Story: As a teacher, I want to be able to translate my presentations into real time so that I can teach students from all over the world.
Use Case: I am teaching an online class to students from all over the world. I want to be able to translate my presentation into real time so that all of my students can understand me.
The new features for Google Slides should be integrated with the existing Google Workspace suite. This will allow users to easily access and use their data from other Google products, such as Google Drive and Google Sheets.
There are no known dependencies or constraints on the development of the new features for Google Slides.
The following are the acceptance criteria for the new features for Google Slides:
One potential risk is that the new features for Google Slides may be too complex and difficult to use. This can be mitigated by designing the features to be intuitive and user-friendly.
Another potential risk is that the new features may not be compatible with all existing Google Slides presentations. This can be mitigated by developing a migration tool that allows users to convert existing presentations to the new format.
The following is a tentative timeline for the development and release of the new features for Google Slides:
