A perfect STFC location is a court with the following qualities:

Must Haves

➕ Large space big enough for 5v5 (50-60 ft wide : 75-90 ft long). (Think: large basketball court size)

💡 Lights (for night time games)

➖ Surface is level

✅ High quality surface (no cracks/holes, good drainage, no potholes, no loose gravel)

⚽ Good ball retention (i.e. surrounded by a wall or fence on all or some sides)

🚧 Absence of physical obstructions

📍 Central Location

🚊 Located near public transportation / parking (depending on the city)

🚓  In a safe, well-lit neighborhood

⏱️ Certainty of tenure (consistently empty or ability to be permitted or rented)

Nice to Haves

🔐 Ability to store equipment

👬 Multiple courts (leaves space free for the local community and/or gives us the ability to run multiple games at once!)
