- Statistics, Bandits, Reinforcement Learning Theory: This research area is mainly theoretical and investigates various topics in bandits, RL theory (MDP sample complexity), online learning, active learning, RLHF, clustering, etc. Applicants with strong math backgrounds or a willingness to learn are preferred. - Efficient NLP: We’re working to develop efficient NLP methods and models to enhance their feasibility in the real world. This includes compressing large language models (LLMs) to alleviate their massive computation and memory requirements, efficient LLM inference techniques, and more. We’re seeking applicants with excellent communication skills and experience in coding. Please refer to our recent works: [EACL'23] [ACL'23] [ICML'24] [NeurIPS’24].
- Weather Forecasting AI: We believe AI can assist in fighting climate change, and weather forecasting AI is a great place to start. We’re seeking applicants with excellent communication skills and experience in coding. Please refer to our recent works: [Arxiv'22] [NeurIPSW'22].
