Yesterday I learned the cause of our recent website issues was due to an intentional attack aimed to take our website down. We’re stabilizing now that we understand what is happening, but the attacks are ongoing and due to advanced safety measures we’ve put in place you may experience occasional blocks/additional requests to verify you are in fact a human 👩🏻💻.
Asking for help goes against every comfort fiber in my being. Providing as many ad-free, free, inclusive, and accessible resources for people as possible has always been at the heart of NDI.
So, as our website stabilizes, if you’ve benefited from our resources here are some ways you can support me and my team (I’m a proud employer to several AuDHD, neuroqueer women). Below are some ways to support us during this challenging time.

The most helpful thing you can do for us right now is not forget we exist and not give up on us. The way attacks like this work is to bombard the site with traffic so no server can keep up. People lose trust and then stop visiting/recommending. You may also experience occasional blocks as we sort out the right firewalls and settings. So the number one way you can support us is by having patience with us and remembering we exist. I so appreciate all of you who regularly recommend Neurodivergent Insights articles, resources, and website. Thank you 💙

Another way to access my writing and resources directly (always free) is through my newsletter. Every Sunday I send out an essay/newsletter and you have the option to opt in to also receive a series of educational content emails I’ve created over the years. We also have lots of free downloads for newsletter readers, I just ask you are patient with us as some of the linked pages are having issues at the moment.

50% of contributions will go directly to NDI employees, and the rest will help cover increased security measures and the web development work needed to keep our site running. *You can also use Paypal if running into issues with the Tip Jar, just write in memo “Tip Jar” so I know how to allocate the funds.

This experience, beyond a hundred other reasons, is motivating me to spend more time sharing both free and paid resources in more ways including starting a Substack. Essays are free to read (similar to my Sunday newsletters). And conversations are open for paid subscribers and you’ll get occasional free downloads. This week we’re giving away the Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria Workbook to early paid subscribers.

We’ve curated several databases through input from members of the Learning Nook and our own team. But we haven’t exactly gotten the word out about these resources. These are free to use (they do support us as we have some affiliate links embedded in some of them of the items we firmly believe in), and they were created to gather and share helpful information for anyone to use.

Whether it’s supporting us with your patience, your attention and time (a precious resource), or financially, I want to thank you for standing by us.
I know things feel hard and scary right now, and I think I’m feeling this attack more personally because of all that is happening in the world.
But, your support, kindness, and patience brings literal tears to my eyes (said as a former minimal-cryer).
