The best way(s) to communicate with me

| My communication style: | I avoid emotions to protect my sensibility to them I’m as direct as possible I’m most effective at writing I’m never sarcastic | | --- | --- | | Default channel: | In context (GitHub, Notion, etc), otherwise Email. I don’t like Slack much, I find it hard to keep track of things and it break focus. | | Constructive feedback: | In any format, if you find an action that led to a positive or negative outcome, share it. | | Positive feedback: | I love knowing what works and what doesn’t work, it’s useful information. I don’t really care about receiving gratitude or recognition, I take most joy in trusting that the problem is solved. | | No-no’s / pet peeves: | Repetition of the same information. No links that I can follow to find the root information (working on the open-source taught me the value of not trusting what people say, trust in the root data) |

Leadership & management

| What I need in a people leader… | is to give me a problem, the resources to address it, and let me figure things out. The bigger the problem is, the better.

Then explain to me why the problem is more important to focus on than the others.

I take the most joy in envisioning what a great future looks like, and especially in each step that moves us closer to living that future. Trusting that after each step of the work we ship, the next instances of the problems will be gone is incredibly rewarding for me. | | --- | --- | | What I offer/my style as a people leader… | - I focus on flying upwind: seek opportunities in each instant.
