<aside> 💡 Hey there! I'm Kyle Treige, a 2x founder based in San Francisco. I use Notion to help organize the startup content I consume. I love working with frameworks and building them in Notion. I enjoy sharing the resources I create with the startup community. Duplicate this page if you find it valuable!

Pete Flint (founder/former CEO @Trulia and Managing Partner @NFX) wrote an essay about startup risk, Why Founders Should Take More Risk. In Pete's essay, he presented a useful framework for navigating startup risk (see below). I created this document to internalize his framework and help founders create their own risk profile.
[ ] Step 1: Duplicate or Copy & Paste this page
a. Duplicate this page into your Notion account
Press "Duplicate" in the upper right hand corner of your screen. (If you're not using Notion, I highly recommend it. It's the best notes app I've ever used... by far)
b. Or, copy and paste the text on this page to the location of your choice (e.g. Google Docs, Evernote, etc.)
[ ] Step 2: Read all of the material in **Understanding the framework**
This section includes Pete Flint's essay and relevant snippets I've pulled from the essay. If you want to do even more, take your own notes and identify the snippets that resonate with you.
