Anthology Account
- Field Placement Assignment — An email will be sent to cooperating teachers when your candidate’s placement has been assigned. This email will look similar to the image below and include additional information. You will use the link “Go to Anthology” in this email to access Anthology (see below).

- Email Notifications — Email notifications provide a direct link to Anthology Portfolio. Cooperating teachers only need the link and their email address associated with the placement to access the forms and surveys.
Notifications in Anthology
- Enter the email address associated with your cooperating teacher account at the login screen and click Login.
After login, the Notifications window will open. You can see all the notifications you have received regarding your candidate’s field placement, including placement confirmation, assessments, and journal sign-off requests.

Field Placements
- To access field placements, click on the MENU link on the left side of the screen and select Experiential Learning.
- The Experiential Learning screen lists all placements associated with your account.

- The placement screen will show details including:
- Stakeholders (cooperating teacher, field supervisor, and faculty member) and their email addresses.
- The UToledo Field Coordinator will be listed as the candidate’s Institutional Advisor.
- The number of hours logged by the student.

To view the information for a placement, click on the row and select View.

In the detailed placement view, there are several areas:
- Placement Details - Information on the stakeholders and placement.
- Journals - teacher candidates enter their placement hours here.
- Assessments - observations and reflection forms.
- Surveys - observations and midterm/final grade sheets.
- School Information - map, address, and demographic information about the partner school.
