<aside> 🍒 In Spring 2024, CherryOnTech launched its third cohort, welcoming 49 participants from underrepresented genders, including developers, UX designers, product managers, and, for the first time, 3 UX writers. The expanded 15-week program featured 6 cross-functional tech squads, where participants, guided by mentors and guest speakers, collaborated on projects from concept to launch, culminating in live website deployments.

CherryOnTech is a volunteer-run organization focused on helping people from underrepresented genders who are new to the tech world. Our mission is to build a supportive community where individuals can grow and thrive by working together in tech squads. We believe in the power of teamwork, mentorship, and providing opportunities for everyone to feel empowered and succeed in tech.

<aside> 📖 Project summary: Blissful is an innovative wellness initiative addressing the pervasive issue of work burnout. Committed to enhancing the well-being of women and non-binary working professionals, our project is designed to recommend self-care activities for individuals experiencing burnout. Activities are recommended based on someone’s perceived energy level, separated from low and high, which is determined through a questionnaire.
