1. Ball of Treats

Step 1: Take a tennis ball, and make a cut in it about 5cm long.

Step 2: Put Dry Treats in the ball and let doggo play with it

Caution (Tips):

1: If the dog has a hard time getting treats out of the ball widen the cut

2: Material around the tennis ball can make dog teeth sensitive as the rough nylon wears down their protective layer.

3: Do not offer a tennis ball for everyday play.

  1. In Which Hand:

Step 1: Take a treat with a strong smell and hold it in one of your fists in a manner that you can slightly see it. Then hold your fists at your dog’s chest height and encourage him to identify the correct fist while asking “which hand?”

Step 2: ****If your dog's nose and paws are at the correct hand for a few seconds, say “GOOD” then open your fist and allow him to get the treat. Repeat this with the other hand.

Step 3: But if your dog identifies the wrong hand say “whoops” show him the empty hand and stop the trick. Do not start it again right then, make your dog wait for 30 seconds at least to show him the negative consequences of incorrect choice.

Step 4: ****Next you can increase the difficulty by completely covering the treat and just leaving an air hole big enough for your dog to sniff only.

Step 5: ****Wait for your dog to choose the correct fist at least a few times consistently before changing his indicator requirement from nosing your fist to pawing at it. Then keep your fists low to the ground to show that you want him to paw it. When your dog indicates his choice with his nose, pull your other hand back and encourage him to paw at your correct hand by saying “get it.”
