To get the most out of Anima’s document processing, most (if not all) of your documents should be redirected from EMIS straight into Anima.
To make this happen, you will need to apply for a new MESH mailbox that will enable Anima to receive documents directly from your senders without them having to go through EMIS first. You apply for a MESH mailbox via NHS England, who will then give you a mailbox ID and password.
You will then to submit a request to the NHS National Service Desk for them to redirect your documents from your existing mailbox (that is linked to EMIS), to your new mailbox (that is linked to Anima).

Step-by-step guide:
Your practice will likely already have a MESH mailbox that is linked to your instance of EMIS, where you are currently receiving documents. To receive documents directly into Anima, you will need to request one using the online form at this link (click this box ⬇️):

Scroll down to the section that says Your organisation and contact information, where you’ll find a short form to complete:
