Below are a list of AI tools that we believe are helpful for UX designers. This list was sourced from our friends who work in the field.
We are constantly looking to add new tools to this list, so feel free to shoot us an email at bigbrainaiteam@gmail.com with recommendations.
Featured tools:

- What is it: An AI design assistant within Figma
- How to leverage it:
- Save time by generating images/shapes/etc. from simple text prompts.
- I like to use this just to get a simple design inspiration and then iterate off of it. Especially good when starting from a blank template.
- Notes:
- The renderings can take a while to complete.
- This is a Figma-specific plugin, so you must be using that tool to leverage this.

- What is it: Midjourney is an AI art-generation tool. It is a small independent research lab that is self-funded.
- How to leverage it:
- Similar to Ando, I like to use Midjourney to come up with an initial design concept.
- Once I have something I like, I either edit the asset in Figma or build it from scratch with the necessary changes.
- Notes:
- A lot of people like Dall-E or Stable Diffusion, but I have found that my results from Midjourney are MUCH better.
- Midjourney requires you to have a Discord account, and you need to upgrade to paid tier to go past their monthly max art generations.
