Working Groups are task forces of independent operators who guide critical work in areas like growing the Jupiter community, enhancing the J.U.P ecosystem, and creating processes for the DAO.
What are the current DAO Working Groups?

💡
DAO Note: The difference between Trial WGs and Full WGs is that trials are meant to be experiments lasting 3-4 months to determine viability, while Full WGs have yearly budgets and JUP allocations

At this time there are 4 of them.
- The CWG guides core processes for the DAO
- The Uplink WG is the DAO’s content creation arm
- The JUP & JUICE trial WG runs the self-titled podcast
- And the CAWG trial WG fosters the catdets across all platforms
How can I form a WG?
Forming a Working Group is a multi-step system that starts at receiving a grant, becoming a trial, and finally becoming a full fledged WG. You can read more about that process here.
I want to start but don’t know how.
There are several ways to get involved in the Jupiter DAO. Some good ways to just get started are:
- Be helpful and work your way up to the Catdet role: Lot’s of catdets are doing things and have the best eyes and ears on the Jupiverse.
- Volunteer or assist with ongoing initiatives, whether that be an existing working groups or general tasks like helping with the reddit.
- Be on the lookout for any ongoing bounties
- Create some form of content: videos, threads, etc, and then propagate it.
- You can find some general ideas on what might be useful to the DAO in this essay here: https://x.com/SlorgoftheSlugs/status/1836925337881493513
- Or just consume information and engage on the reddit, jupresearch forum or Discord and an idea may come to you over time.
I’m active but I don’t know if I can start a WG. How could I tell?
