A View is the general term for any method of viewing relevant objects or data in the game.
Types of Views
Orbital View
This allows you to view a Body System (Celestial Bodies & Systems); a celestial body and its direct child celestial bodies.
Modes of Orbital View
- Orrery View: View a Body System as an orrery composed of each body's real, orbital position.
- Strategic Mode — For the minimalist in you. Displays objects as a variety of geometric shapes, sorta like an ATC console.
- Realistic Mode — Displays celestial bodies as scaled-up versions of themselves.
- Arranged View: Best when you're trying to get the gist of some set of data. View a Body System as a side-by-side arrangement, sorted by a chosen set of data, so things like:
- Average distance from parent celestial body
- Population
- Total GDP
- Presence of a particular resource
- And more!
Data Toggles of Orbital View
You're able to toggle on and off whether you can view specific bits of data, like:
- Military Units
- Civilian Units
- Orbit Lines
- Asteroids
- Comets
Surface View
This allows you to view a Body Surface; anything that is confined to the surface (or subsurface) of a body.
Modes of Surface View
- Spherical Mode: View the surface of a body as a globe.
