Our new vehicle system requires the meshes to be separated. This is in order to have attachments and breaking parts.

OPTIMIZATION REQUIREMENTS

Interior and exterior need to have different LODs with a max polygon count. As well as correct setup to show high detail interior when in first person view.

All of this values are for the COMBINATION of all parts of the vehicle.

High Detail - Used during car selection / showcase / full detailed interior - Up to 200k triangles

LOD0 - Gameplay up close with interior - Up to 60k triangles

LOD1 - Usual view from third person, low poly interior - Up to 30k triangles

LOD2 - Far view, minimal interior - Up to 15k triangles

LOD3 - No interior - Up to 5k triangles

LOD4 - Up to 2k triangles

First person view - Used in gameplay for driving in first person - 30k triangles
