A useful links block includes links to related content in other sections of the website. Use it to link to web pages with relevant resources and information.

Add a useful links block

  1. Select the Edit tab above the page title

  2. Scroll to the bottom of the editing view. Select the Add Card of Links button.

  3. In Card name add the title “Useful links.” This will be automatically formatted as an H3 heading in the block.

  4. For each link you want to add, add the URL and the Link text that will display on the card.

    1. For links to pages on the Main Library website or HSL sub-site, you only need to add the end of the URL path that comes after .edu.
      1. Example:
        1. URL: /borrow/request/interlibrary-loan
        2. Link text: Interlibrary loan
    2. For links to pages on other websites, use the full URL.
      1. Example:
        1. URL: https://speccoll.library.arizona.edu/
        2. Link text: Special Collections
  5. Add as many links as needed. If you want to change the order of the links, use the four-arrow icon on the left side of the link to drag it up or down.

  6. Select Save.

Edit a useful links block

  1. Select the Edit tab above the page title
  2. Go to the section called Type: Card of links.
  3. Edit the URLs or Link text.
  4. If you want to change the order of the links, use the four-arrow icon on the left side of the link to drag it up or down.
  5. Select Save.
