When you join, you will have 30 days to elect your medical, dental, and vision benefits. Be sure to make your elections carefully, as you will be “locked in” to your plans for the rest of the year, unless you have a qualifying life event. You will have the opportunity to make changes for the next plan year during open enrollment (typically in the Fall).
Who’s Eligible? Full-time employees working a minimum of 30 hours per week are eligible to enroll in Notion's benefits. Who’s eligible as a dependent? You can add your spouse/domestic partner*, children, or your spouse/domestic partners’ children to your health coverage.

When will my benefits begin? Coverage will begin on your first day of employment but you will need to wait a few days to receive cards/ID numbers. If you need this expedited, reach out to our benefits team.

Notion offers medical coverage to all benefit-eligible employees through Anthem Blue Cross and Kaiser Permanente. Be sure to review the plan benefits carefully as outlined below.
Individuals on the PPO plan may receive care from any provider and/or facility; however, Anthem has negotiated discounted prices with providers who participate in the network. This means that by using in-network providers you will reduce your out-of-pocket expenses. You are not required to designate a Primary Care Physician (PCP) on this plan.
Since this is still a PPO plan, members can also receive care from any provider with the best pricing being with in-network providers. The difference is that this plan has a high deductible which needs to be met in order for co-insurance to kick in. This plan comes with a Health Savings Account and a contribution from the company.
Individuals on the Kaiser HMO must receive care from a Kaiser contracted provider and/or facility. Members are required to designate a Primary Care Physician (PCP) on this plan and the PCP coordinates all care within the Kaiser HMO.
Notion offers dental benefits through Guardian Dental.
Notion offers vision benefits through Guardian VSP.
Eligible employees receive Life, Short-Term, and Long-Term Disability insurance through Guardian.
