Page Numbers not showing

• If you are seeing () instead of page numbers in your exported clippings, it might be because the language of your kindle has a different nomenclature in your clippings file. In English kindles, it is recorded as “Your Highlight on Location 128-129”. We search by the keyword “Location” here, hence if it is not available, we won’t be able to support it. We will eventually work towards adding support for more languages, please book a ticket through our feedback form and share your clippings file so that we can incorporate your language

  • Workaround suggested by user (shoutout to Caroline)

    1. Copy the txt file to your computer(Please don’t change the actual file on your kindle), open the txt file and in "edit", select the option "replace"

    2. In the replace tab put the phrase in your native language to "locate" (for eg in portuguese kindle "Seu destaque ou Posicao") and in the "replace with" put the phrase in English (”Your Highlight on Location”)

       3. If the edit was done properly, then export should work properly for you.
