Introduction

With COVID-19 at its peak, The entertainment industry faced a major hit, and in a volatile state — as people could neither visit the cinemas nor attend shows, concerts, clubs or hangouts. Most musician/Artist were making a living off Events and Concert, and even before COVID they were faced limitations of availability, venue capacity and other accessibility Issues. There arise a need to deliver on the demand for entertainment , even as the stay home protocols needs to be maintained. But how?

Virtual Reality (VR) gives a transformed visualization of the environments around us. It creates an impressive, immersive experience that goes far beyond anything that can be achieved with physical or Video Musical events.

About SogoVR

SogoVR is a Virtual Reality Application for various Entertainment immersive projects that brings the music of the greatest composers/Artistes to the public streaming via the Virtual Reality Environment. Users can roam around entertainment events centres ranging from concerts to orchestra to witness the look and feel of the events. SogoVR has pride itself in delivering this experience to a selection of Music Composers and Performers over the next couple of years.

Product Goals

What were we offering? this question arose in the early stage of project conceptualization. We wanted to be clear on the product value offering. For our first MVP we resolved to offer our users these four core values:

Custom made VR lens

Safer product with the lenses on the VR glasses we produce, specially made to protect the eyes from UV lights from mobile phones, unlike any of its competitors.
