Why Social Tokens Matter
Social tokens in Qoneqt represent ownership and control over a creator’s group or community. Think of it like owning a digital key that lets someone manage the community’s rules, revenue, and visibility.
What Does Token Ownership Control?
- Community Leadership: The token owner is the official creator/admin of the group.
- Revenue & Monetization: If the community has paid content or tipping, the token owner gets a share.
- Group Rules & Settings: The token owner can set engagement rules and invite/remove admins.
- Visibility & Future Transfers: The owner decides if/when the token should be transferred to another user.
How the Process Works (UX & UI Flow)
Step 1: Social Token Voting Starts
- An existing admin initiates a vote to create a social token.
- Why? This ensures the group agrees on leadership changes rather than one person making the decision.
- Where? The admin selects the ‘Social Token’ option from the group’s menu.
AI-Powered Enhancement: AI ensures only eligible users can vote by verifying their engagement and authenticity.
Step 2: Voting Process
- The community votes on whether the admin should receive the social token.
- Voting automatically closes once a quorum (minimum required votes) is met.
- If the admin wins, they gain control over the token and can move to the next step.
