Updates:

• Faculty Learning Community for fall 2024
• “Lab Hours” for regular casual meetings to discuss opportunities in the Fab Lab.
• Creation of “3D Printing for Any Class” workshop resulted in 25 faculty participating and creating at least one project for a class they will teach over the summer or in the fall.
• Creation of summer series of workshops for 3D printing, 3D scanning, and mesh editing.
• Creation of “Repair Days” for faculty, staff, and students to bring in items that may be repaired in the Fab Lab and kept out of the landfill.
• Survey created for faculty to give feedback on needs or wants from the Fab Lab.
• Connections with faculty through BEAM/CBIO Initiative involving Bio/Ag Tech and circular economy development for North San Joaquin Valley region. Centered on digital technology and entrepreneurship with curriculum development through Stan State’s Professional & Global Education program.
