How to get faculty (~550) buy-in for the Warrior Fab Lab?

• Provide workshops to learn about the Fab Lab, equipment, processes, material, etc.
• More marketing and communications for faculty opportunities
• Provide learning opportunities to help faculty understand connections between the Fab Lab and their classes and/or areas of research
• Create course material for faculty to plug into their courses
• Get administrative support for funding and to incentivize learning opportunities
• Provide research grants or material to use for free
• Create a committee or advisory board
• Create a reading/discussion group
• Have open hours for faculty to discuss ideas in the Fab Lab
• Make information more accessible
• Showcase project examples on the website
• Create a symposium to share use of the Fab Lab and research opportunities
• Create internships for students to use the Fab Lab and bridge the gap with their major faculty
• Partnering with community members to build support and opportunities
• Commitment to diversity, equity & inclusion
• Focus in sustainability (social & environmental justice)
