Principles:

  1. Duplicate this template for your own edits and use. IMPT: This is just a simple template. The great thing about Notion is that you can customize it easily. There are plenty of tutorials online.
  2. When you plan your schedule, you want to do so horizontally and vertically. This means you include all the main priorities/subjects in your life (horizontally), and then add tasks in each priority (vertically).
  3. At the beginning of each week (Sunday), block out 1-1.5 hours to plan out your week! Write out all the specific tasks you want to do in each priority (If you’ll like, also plan for the month in a separate sheet)
  4. Schedule them into time slots for the whole week. As shown, I have split the day into 3 parts, morning, afternoon and night. Within each part, you can schedule in tasks. You can also add specific time blocks (for e.g 1-3pm), if that works better for you. Do remember to add in breaks and non-negotiable items based on your priorities too.
  5. Thet before the next day, review what needs to be done the following day and make small changes if needed
  6. Cross out tasks as you complete them
  7. ALL THE BEST! Motivation gets you started, habit keeps you going :)
