The Problem:
There're many different pages on the SF zoo website, but I chose three pages for this redesign project 1) zoo landing page, 2) reserve ticket 3) learning page. For the reasons:
- A landing page is the most important page for the website. It gives people the first impression of the zoo.
- Online booking would be the zoo's primary method to sell the ticket at a pandemic time. A well-designed reserve ticket will help the zoo to increase the selling ticket at this time.
- The learning page is also essential for the zoo to build a branding identity. It can show to parents, teachers, and other people who may be interested in learning more at the zoo and a way to expand potential business opportunities.
Research:
To understand what problem the zoo website currently has and how to improve those issues in the next step, I took a screenshot for three pages I want to design.
These problems I found from current website:
- Unclear Visual Hierarchy
- Duplicate CTA information
