<aside> ✨ Notion can be overwhelming at first, especially in one like ours with so much content and an always evolving structure. Let's start with some first steps on Notion basics and then learn how to get around our documentation.

<aside> 🚨 We prepared a document for everyone working on this project to make sure everyone is interacting with our Tasks Boards on Notion mindfully.
This document describes the main points you should be extra vigilant when it comes to changing any properties, pipelines, board views, etc. We are requiring every team member to read it carefully, familiarize yourself with the main "not to do” rules and sign the document.

The structure of Notion is pretty simple. This paragraph you're reading right now is a block, a text block specifically. Above this one there is a Heading 1 block. All of these are in a page, which is inside another, inside another page... And we move these around and rearrange them as needed to structure our information appropriately. Some pages are like this, just linked from another one and contain information. Other pages might be in a list, or a table, or a board, but they're all pages we can move across and display in different ways, and sometimes depending on where they are located, they might have different properties, but we'll get to this later.
We're gonna start by practising how to create different blocks, and we're gonna do this in a Playground page, which doesn't have editing restrictions, like this one does.
<aside> 👉 This page can't be edited because otherwise it would be very likely that people would modify it, even without realising, which is why you might come across pages in this workspace that you can't edit, but if you need to, you can ask in #asks channel and someone can grant you permissions. This block is called a callout by the way.

Head over to the Notion Playground and click on "Add a new player" at the top. You'll come back to this page afterwards.
Congrats! 🥳 You'll probably want to keep experimenting in a safe space after this. Take a look at the workspace structure on the left. You'll see three main sections: Favorites, Workspace and Private (you'll eventually see a Shared section when someone shares a page with you or a group you're part of). On the private space you can create content only for your eyes. You can start to work in there and then drag the page to the workspace, or Share it with someone when you're ready. Try putting this page on Favorites!
Below the Private section on the bottom of the side menu you'll see a Templates button. Try exploring them and seeing all the things that are possible with Notion in your private space.
