Opertoon’s Movie Theatre app lets you load your Stepworks Studio content into a virtual movie house, projecting your images and movies on the big screen for you to experience in VR or via traditional display.

Getting started
Linking your Patreon account
If you’re an Opertoon supporter, there’s no need to purchase the app separately — just link your Patreon and Stepworks accounts.
Loading a story
- Open the app
- Select “Load a story”
- A browser window will open containing an activation code (you may need to log in to your Stepworks Studio account first). If you are in VR, you will need to remove your headset.
- Return to the app and enter the code.
- The app should authenticate and then show you a list of your stories. If authentication fails, you’ll be prompted to enter a new code.
- Select a story to load it into the theatre.
Enabling and disabling VR
You can switch to VR mode and back from within the app.
- Open the main menu
- Select “Options”
- Select the “Virtual Reality” option to toggle VR on or off
