The student had very clear and natural pronunciation with only small errors that can be easily corrected. With respect to listening, he usually needs a little more repetitions as I give instructions. Thus, in our class, I tend to give English translations as needed but still encourage him to speak in Mandarin. Since he has shown strong interest in poems and riddles, I would like to bring more materials like those to our future classes. Poems and riddles are valuable parts of a language and are not emphasized in the school textbook, so they would be good supplementary knowledge for the kid.
