Mark Padioan Lucas, Special Science Teacher, is a faculty member of Philippine Science High School-Ilocos Region Campus, San Ildefonso, Ilocos Sur. He graduated from University of Baguio in Baguio City with an undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering. Also, he finished his master’s degree, Master of Arts in Mathematics, at Benguet State University, La Trinidad, Benguet and currently taking up his doctorate degree, Doctor of Philosophy in Education, at the same university. He is a Professional Computer Engineer and Licensed Professional Teacher as certified by the Computer Engineering Certification Board and Professional Regulations Commission respectively.
Aside from being a teacher, he is also one of the few Honorable Member of the Design to Improve Life Academy and Certified Trainer of the Design to Improve Life: The Compass of the Design Center of the Philippines, Department of Trade and Industry.
He has served as FABLABs Philippines Network Growth Committee Member and FABLABs Philippines Network Quality Committee Member from December 2021 to December 2022, Academic Unit Head of Technology Unit, Philippine Science High School-Ilocos Region Campus from August 2021 to May 2023 and the FABLAB Manager / Project Manager of Negosyo Center - FABLAB and Co-Working Spaces Ilocos Region (FABLAB Ilocos), Philippine Science High School-Ilocos Region Campus from August 2016 to May 2020.
He has also worked in the following organizations; Philippine Science High School-Cordillera Administrative Region Campus, Baguio City (June 2014 - May 2016; June 2011-March 2012), University of Baguio, Baguio City (June 2012 - May 2014), and Texas Instruments Phils., Inc., Baguio City (April 2011 - June 2011; April 2010 - September 2010).
