How links are formatted

You can add links to other pages on the the library’s website or to external websites. As a default, all links open in the same window. Links are automatically formatted red and underlined.

Add a link

To add a link to your web content:

  1. Highlight the text you want to add the link to

  2. Select the link icon in the text editor

  3. For links to other pages on the refreshed UAL website (meaning, any page that’s on lib.arizona.edu), you only need to include the end of the URL path after “.edu” in the text box. For example, if you’re linking to https://lib.arizona.edu/catalyst, you only need to copy and paste “/catalyst” into the URL text box to add the link.

  4. For links to pages on the previous UAL site (meaning, any page that’s on new.library.arizona.edu) or to other websites, copy and paste the full URL into the URL text box.

  5. If you’re signed in as a content manager, make sure you’re copying and pasting URLs from the live website, not the admin URLs, as these won’t work for users. You can still include the part after the “pantheonsite.io” in the URL, e.g. “/catalyst/equipment” in “https://live-ua-libraries-website.pantheonsite.io/catalyst/equipment.”

  6. Select Save to publish your changes.
