Bonjour, Fablab family ! My name is Lingchih Yang. I am originally from Taiwan and currently live in France. It has been almost a decade since I worked at Artilect. Artilect is the 1st Fablab in France. Its major activities Fablab, coworking, event organizer, and professional training courses. Working in a small team, I am multitasking. I could be a Fab Manager, a Project Manager, or an event organizer. Recently, I spent most of my time developing professional training courses.
To make digital fabrication accessible to the public, Artilect has organized several FabFestival. The objectives of the FabFestival are to create an environment where enterprises can exchange with makers, the international speakers can share their knowledge in digital fabrication, the round tables can talk about how Fablab could change our societies, and the public can participate in different workshops and see how they can make with the machine in the Fablab.
In 2018, Artilect had to the honor of hosting Fab14. Thanks to this event, the Toulouse City Hall and the Occitanie government decided to be a member of the Fab City project.
