Learning Outcomes

In these lessons you will learn about Descriptive Statistics. You can start now by understanding the learning outcomes that will be emphasized in this workshop:

Students understand when, where, and why mean, mode, and median are used in different situations, and are able to apply these measures to real world applications.
Students are able to know how to use the calculator to calculate problems involving mean, median, and mode in real-world problems.
Students understand when, where, why, and how variance is used.
Students are able to use a calculator to calculate and solve problems involving variance and real-world problems.
Students are able to define standard deviation.
Students understand when, where, and how to use standard deviation.
Students are able to use a calculator to apply standard deviation problems to real-world examples.
Students learn the concepts of Descriptive Statistics helps students to develop the basic statistics foundation for further Statistics and Math learning.
Being able to recognize the use of descriptive statistics in real-world examples.
