Community call summary (08.10)

“in the absence of formal charges against Alex, and @ksskssmal statements that she is NOT pursuing raising funds for Alex's legal defense at the moment, then the best way to work with the Free Alex community is to mention (use as an example) Alex’s situation in BROADER legal disputes with authorities and regulators.

Examples: fight for privacy/human Rights by disputing/challenging structural laws that can cause systemic risk for ideals that are fundamental to the existence of our entire ecosystem: Mica, Travel Rule, unhosted wallets, Privacy, Freedom of Speech, etc

These legal disputes/fights will need to use a new legal structure, controlled by a DAO, that would have the ability to raise funds, and work in partnership with other DAOs/like-minded institutions IRL.

That being said, by the end of the call, there was a consensus that to move forward it will be required to:

• Have a higher level of engagement of the Free Alex community in these discussions
• Prepare concrete proposals for the legal structure, ahead of the next community call
• Prepare concrete proposals for Governance of the DAO & legal structure, ahead of the next community call.
