Submission Instructions
- You will need to make a Notion account in order to edit any pages. We recommend you use your Berkeley email account, as there are some additional perks enabled on “Education” accounts.
- To submit your response to a question, first click "Edit" in the top right of the page. This will prompt you to sign in or create an account. when you're logged in, go to the page for your question, scroll to the bottom, and click “+New” to create a new post. Please fill out the Author section above with your full name, and put your response in the body of the page. Below outlines options for formatting your response.
- Finally, go to bCourses and find the assignment. Paste a link to your Notion post in the bCourses assignment to finish your submission.
- If you propose a new question that is approved by the GSI, Sophia will create a page for it and you can submit your response there.
- On the top of each post is a section for comments. We encourage the use of this and hope your work sparks discussion.

Formatting Guidelines
Essay and Mathematics Posts
Essay and math posts have the same formatting guidelines. Ultimately, it is up to you how you want to format your work, but the goal is to make it easy and pleasant for others to read your work. Here are a few ideas:
Option 1: Write your essay inline
This is the most readable option, and will make it easy for others to peruse your essay. Notion has a lot of nice features for text editing, such as LaTeX equations ("/equation")
