We use Trello as a Kanban task tracker, so that all team members can see who is doing what, and what progress is being made to achieve our goals.

These goals are listed in the “User Stories + Acceptance Criteria” column.

Trello is comprised of cards within columns.

For best practice to ensure transparency working remotely, we try our best to document as much information as possible for each task.

When setting up cards:

  1. Clearly state what the task is in the title.

  1. Tag the work stream this task falls under, add the team members required on this task, and where relevant, set a due date.

  1. Add a description of What the task is, and How it will be worked on.

  2. If the task is large, break it up into sub tasks. Where relevant, add checklists.
