Setting Goals

• [ ] There are different types of goal formats with people that love, I recommend trying out different formats and choose one that works for you, e.g.
  • [ ] OKRs
  • [ ] WIGs
  • [ ] Just a plain ole one liner
• [ ] Make sure your goals are actionable and measurable
• [ ] Make sure your goals tie into your overall strategy laid out during the primary aim and strategic objective in (How to figure out what you want)

Measuring progress

• [ ] Look at the goal that you set out
• [ ] Measure how much you’ve achieved
• [ ] Reflect on why or why you haven’t reached your goals and write it down

Moving forward

• [ ] Discard goals that don’t serve you anymore
• [ ] Use your reflections from the previous step to figure out actionable things in your control that will help you achieve your goal the next time!

Reflect on this
