Slack is where the magic happens. There are a variety of topics and channels to participate in.

You have already automatically been added to our, 01_announcements-read-only, #02_revgenius-questions, and #03_introductions (amongst a few others).

Setting up your profile 👤

To set your profile up, you will just select your name in the upper left-hand corner. This will pull up a box to view your profile, set if you are active or away, set a status, and pause notifications.
Once you click "view profile," the "edit your profile" box will pop up so you can add all of your info. We ask that all members in the community add a profile picture, make sure your full name is listed.

You will also be able to modify the name that will be displayed to members in slack.

Slack Posting Guidelines

Below is a list of guidelines to assure member posting and engagement is aligned with our values:

Absolutely No Self Promotion!
Threads: please add comments to a post in a thread - how to use threads to organize discussions
Reacting: want to add a quick emoji to slack posts - how to use emoji reactions
Formatting: consider using bullets and line breaks for your post - how to format your Slack messages
Events: Please post your event no more than 1 time in the community #events channel
Channel Info: descriptions can be found by clicking on the ℹ️ button; You can also see pinned posts, ones deemed important.
