Use this template to conquer the supermarket!

Setting It Up

1. Open the below page and duplicate to your space

   Groceries

2. Drag this page into your Private Section (if using a company Notion)

3. Open the All Groceries view. Rename the Store labels to your own local stores. Add more as needed.

   

4. Rearrange the Section labels to match the layout of your stores. Add more as needed.

5. The table comes pre-populated with sample items. Obviously there are no 🍌s.

   • Add your own as you go!

     

   • Delete items you don't buy

   • Tag items you buy with any store you'd purchase them from

   • Have way too much fun with emoji

   <aside> 💡 You can add details (including photos) about type, brand, pricing, quantity, etc to the individual item cards.

6. Duplicate the view and update filters for any store you need.

Using It

1. Update the Need on the All Groceries view. Discuss your own rating system

   • Urgent: currently out and desperately need for an upcoming meal/recipe
   • Medium: running low
   • Low: nice to buy if it's on sale
   • No tag: fully stocked or do not currently need

2. Use the Shopping Lists view when shopping. Toggle open the store you are i

   

3. Remove the Need label to mark as purchased.

4. Share access to this page with any housemates or partners

   <aside> 🔥 Send a screenshot of the Store View (including sections) when you want other people to shop for you, but you don't want them to realize how obsessive you are.
