First off, congratulations on creating your Sippo account! 🎉 We’re excited to have you here.
This guide will walk you through setting up your account, as well as adding in your first categories and products on Sippo so that you can get up and running in no time.
Just like at any establishment, your Sippo menu is structured into two sections:
Within each section you can create and arrange your categories and products. You can toggle between sections at any time by using the pill buttons at the top of the page.
Note: The products you add to your menu will be available to add to any Displays you create later on in this guide.
Begin by creating categories for your products to live in. Categories are meant to organize your menu and make it easy for customers to find what they are looking for.
To create your first category, click the + Create Category button.
As you build out your categories, you might want to rearrange them. You can do so at any time by dragging categories into whatever order you’d like. This order will be reflected on your QR/web and embedded menus.
<aside> 💡 Examples of Beverage categories: On Draft, Wines, Tea & Coffee, Non-alcoholic, etc.
Examples of Food categories: Appetizers, Brunch, Lunch, Dinner, Sides, Desserts, etc.

<aside> 💡 Category descriptions are a great way to highlight specials (e.g. Happy Hours), add-ons, or common pricing. For example: “All mains come with fries or a side salad.”

Products are created within categories by clicking + Create Product and filling in the product details.
