+versatile
-has limited spell slots, which may prove difficult to get
-half caster
What stat should a reaper use? → intelligence
Should a Reaper gain the spellslot and the spell upon harvesting → person tracks spells paired with spellslots:
- Better cohesion between spellthiefing and spellslot thieving, as they can be done with the same action
- player is placed into an improvisational gameplay
- -player is denied an apportunity to customize their spell list, as they’ll be solely relying on their DM to give them the spells they want which might go yucky
- -worse cohesion with the general dnd casters as this class wouldnt have a spell list
- only works with mageseeker subclass as
or should the person gain them separately → Spells by seeing them being cast, slots by whomever way the person chooses →
- better cohesion between other classes and this
- allows for customization of your spell list, aka you can decide which spells to keep and which to let go. each combat or a magical encounter feels like an upgrade or a potential for becomming stronger or more versatile. aka that feeling of progression
- helps solidify an identity as of now. thinking about multiple subclasses at this point may dissolve or sway the core idea in an awkward position
How do Reapers gain magical poweres:
- it’s not natural as they are not a sorcerer
- not an oath cuz paladin
- not arts cuz that’s bards
