Option 1

Mount with drywall anchors

Self tapping drywall anchors are easy to install and super secure You just screw them into drywall with a screwdriver, no drilling required

If you know where your wall studs are, or have a stud finder. You can screw directly into your wall without needing anchors

Option 2

Mount with tenson rods

If you're renting and aren't allowed to drill holes into your walls, mounting base stations onto floor to ceiling tension rods are great too.

Avoid infrared reflections

Base station tracking is sweeps of infrared light; so it’s sensitive to objects that reflect infrared light in your environment, like mirrors or metal.

Here’s a video looking at the base stations through infrared night vision goggles, notice how the metal door knob & hinges light up when they’re hit with light, this is a source of reflective interference and will make tracking quality worse.

To fix this issue; cover up reflective surfaces with a sheet or blanket.
