Instead of putting in IP address and ZeroTier IDs manually, get a ‘.creative’ config file from your admin.

Step by Step

  1. Click the ‘+’ button in the top menu bar of the desktop app.
  2. A popup will appear for adding a new node.
  3. Drag and drop the .creative configuration file provided by your system administrator or type in the information yourself.
    1. Node IP or Broadcast Name - The address your workstation is able to access the creative.space server from over the local network or ZeroTier.
    2. Node Nickname - The custom name that will be displayed in the desktop app when the node is listed.
    3. Username and Password - These are your credentials on the server, which you should have been given by a ‘System Administrator’.
    4. ZeroTier ID - This is only for remote access and will be provided by your ‘System Administrator’ directly or through a .creative configuration file.
  4. Click ‘Add Node’
  5. Provided you used the right credentials and you have network access, the node will be added to the desktop app.
