Pranav (CEO) has been an engineer, a PM, and more recently, a VP of Marketing. He’s worked at Bill (acquired Invoice2go), Pilot, Dropbox, PayPal, Magento (acquired by Adobe), Dropbox, Padlet, and PayPal. He gets his energy from talking to customers, getting into solution mode, and helping his team. He’s also been known to find new and creative ways to break the build! Pranav has spent over a decade in California, Singapore, and India and is confused about which one to call home 🙂.
In his spare time, Pranav can be found having a spontaneous dance party with his daughters to some KidzBop, watching the Warriors, or reading marketing books!
Pete Belknap (CTO) studied computer science at Stanford and has had a 20-year career building and leading product engineering teams. Pete’s past companies include Pilot, Dropbox, Invoice2go (acquired by Bill), and Oracle. As an engineer, he’s had database, Android, iOS, web, and backend roles. Pete started his career coding in C and hopes never to go back, but his love of SQL will last a lifetime 🙂. He found his calling in his second go-around as an engineering manager, when he proudly earned the title “world’s okayest boss”. Pete’s been part of product launches running the gamut from a consumer photos app to enterprise database self-tuning.
In his spare time, you’ll find Pete in the desert or the mountains, usually with his 12 year old son. If you bring up Tolkien’s writing or indie video games with him, you’d better have some time on your hands. But don’t worry, he doesn’t speak Elvish (yet).
Pete and Pranav have worked together for most of the last 8 years, and they may or may not be responsible for pasting this 6’ unicorn on the wall of the Dropbox office.
