Hi! I'm Koah.

I am a curious and empathetic UX/UI designer who is passionate about social good, wellness, designing with purpose, and understanding people's needs. I care about making design that matters and knowing that it benefits people in profound ways.

I am currently a junior Social Welfare major at UC Berkeley, with an associate's degree in Psychology from DVC. I have been deeply involved in DVC's Queer Straight Alliance during my time there, and always try to advocate for the LGBTQ community however I can. I think of design as another tool I can use to support and empower marginalized communities.

I have been learning about UX and UI design for the past year and a half. I am mostly self taught, besides a couple of college classes. Learning by myself has taught me to be a self-starter and independent, but my college classes have helped me understand how to effectively collaborate with a team to create the best results.

In my spare time, you'll find me hiking, cooking, drawing, and spending a lot of time with my cat.
