ESC the loop’s mission is to give your time back to you, by reversing the dark patterns present in today’s most popular social media platforms.

Main priority at this time is to establish a strong foundation that can serve as the basis for future development. Some of the concepts being explored include integration with the Notion API, custom redirect app, and the implementation of a timer password.

The main reason is that the application uses a permission called QUETY_ALL_PACKAGES to get the usage information for all the applications on the device. This permission is forbidden in production apps, due to its “sensitive” nature. Apps with this permission require a special attention from Google to be uploaded to Google Play. We are currently working on this and the app would be available on the stores soon. Meanwhile, the apk is available for download from the link below
