Overview
The 90DB Underwriting (UW) program is administered through Allied (Kansas City) with Fidelity Security as the primary stop-loss carrier. This program is designed for faster processing, flexible funding, and improved underwriting outcomes for small to mid-sized groups.
Core Program Structure
Contract & Funding Design
- Spec/Aggregate stop-loss contracts
- 12/24 contract structure (fully incurred)
- Up to 15-month contracts available for renewal alignment
- 12-month runout (extended vs. standard 6 months)
- Variable aggregate attachment point
- Protects against increased costs due to census reduction
- Specific advancement included on all policies
- Weekly aggregate accommodation payments
- Most processed within the same week
Underwriting Guidelines
- Eligible Group Size: 10 – 150 enrolled lives
- Minimum Participation:
- 40% of full-time employees (pre-waiver)
- OR 75% of eligible employees (post valid waivers)
