💡 *Background Research
- We conducted a survey using Google forms and received 27 responses. 5 were surveys conducted in-person, while the remaining 22 were done individually on their own time. Through these responses, we were able to create an affinity diagram assisted us with narrowing down the main issues. We focused on resolving these issues in our app.
What it does
- The app we devised is called CareerCove. The purpose of CareerCove is to provide high schoolers/early college students/those with little guidance when it comes to undergraduate education with all the information and resources they may need to help them choose a major and career path. Within this app, we created a discover page that allows the user to explore various career paths through a short description and a virtual reality section that shows them a day in the life of an industry professional. Another page we implemented was an industry requirements page that gives a detailed explanation of the required/recommended courses and experience to set themselves up for success.
How we built it
- We used Figma.
