Two of the power holders of Sinostra with their own factions to govern. They had two years worth of sickly sweet memories with each other, under the disguise of “business partners” who often had a private meeting after casino hours. No one knows what happened behind the closed doors of Ria’s private office nor the VIP room, and anyone who dares to dig information on that would find themselves 6 feet under the ground before their pathetic excuse of self could utter a single word.

Their first meeting was during the entrance ceremony. After knowing that they’re both being put in the same house, Romeo’s first interaction was to compliment Ria’s house outfit that she hated — the kind of outfit that reminded her of her shitty past. But after realizing that Romeo meant well, his words helped seeing her new life in Sinostra in a better light — even though he almost slipped.
“Come to my office anytime. I can help you out by trying those stuff myself.” “Do you even know what’s in them?!” “You need business advice, don’t you?” “I do, but…”
The first to second year was the period when they were the closest with each other. It was when the two and Taiga built that casino together from the ground and also got involved during the Clash. Romeo used to crash at Ria’s private office without needing to tell her beforehand — mostly to discuss business matters and relieve some stress after a busy night in the casino. He thought it was because that’s what she did for him and Taiga when the truth was she couldn’t detect his presence, so she would rather give him that free pass. Why couldn’t she detect him? Even until this day he doesn’t know the reason behind it. And Ria would rather let it stay that way.
To the people outside the bubble they looked like they were nothing much but business partner. Romeo trust her to dig information on LDR (Lying-Dirty Rats) and Ria trust him to handle the more tiring matters like chasing those rats. Ria was the inside man who provide information and “trap” their enemies while Romeo dealt the rest.
Taiga was fully aware these two had a world of their own, he just never said a word about it.

They grew distant.
Just when Romeo thought about making things clear between them, Ria took a few steps back and decided that everything about them should be nothing less but professional (as professional as it can be in a crime business).
It’s frustrating on Romeo’s side. Not only she was useful but her absence caused something to stir within him — something that bothers him a lot. But with that big of a pride, Romeo convinced himself that he did nothing wrong and that feeling quickly became hatred.
Romeo is her Achilles heel. The price she has to pay for her stigma. Her curse.
