<aside> 💡 After evaluating existing learning assistance applications, we observed a lack of emphasis on fostering collaborative learning environments. With SparkIt! we aimed at empowering teachers and educators to cultivate interdisciplinary learning and collaboration through structured projects.
The platform is geared towards teachers, with the use of a chatbot “ASK’M” they are able to personalize activities for their classes and create new projects. The chatbot serves as a versatile tool, assisting in idea generation, rubric creation, and syllabus development.
Additionally, our community page provides educators with a platform to explore and replicate posted projects, fostering a culture of shared knowledge.
Our feedback forum serves as a direct channel for students to communicate with teachers, enabling them to ask questions and receive assistance with ease. Teachers can offer real-time assistance or addressing them at their convenience.
What’s next: Moving forward we would focus on developing the student side of the application working to integrate more resources for learners. Additionally, we recognize the importance of continuous improvement. We would actively gather feedback from both teachers and students to iteratively enhance SparkIt! and ensure it effectively meets the evolving needs of our users.
